Prishtina is a walking city

The centre of Prishtina is small enough to cross in about twenty minutes. Staying here means the library, the boulevard, the stadium and the restaurants are all reachable without a taxi.

2 min walk

National Library of Kosovo

The most photographed building in the country, wrapped in its famous domes and metal lattice. It sits on the University of Prishtina campus, effectively at the end of our street.

5 min walk

City centre and Mother Teresa Boulevard

Prishtina's pedestrian spine, lined with cafes, restaurants and bars. This is where the city spends its evenings, and it is a five minute stroll from reception.

8 min walk

Fadil Vokrri Stadium

Kosovo's national football ground. On match nights you can leave your room forty minutes before kickoff and still be early.

15 min walk

Newborn Monument

The typographic sculpture unveiled the day Kosovo declared independence in 2008, repainted each year to mark the anniversary.

Worth the detour

The rest of the neighbourhood

Cathedral of Saint Mother Teresa

The white bell tower you can see from several of our rooms. A short walk through the university quarter, and the viewing platform at the top is one of the best places to understand the shape of the city.

The Old Bazaar quarter

Prishtina's oldest streets, where you will find the Ethnological Museum, the Great Hammam and the sort of grilled food and burek that the city actually eats.

Germia Park

A large forested park on the eastern edge of the city, and the usual home of Sunny Hill Festival each summer. A short taxi ride rather than a walk.
